Vitiligo Treatment Options
Vitiligo exclusive treatment at VITILIGO CENTER
Treatment includes:
1. The maintenance of complete medical records from childhood to present.
2. The advanced digital image analysis system.
3. The projected audio-visual information material related to the condition.
4. The clinical examination and the identification of areas of skin that can be affected by vitiligo that the patient is not aware of.
5. The assessment of the extent of vitiligo and the degree of depigmentation that will determine the type of vitiligo and its treatment.
6. The percentage representation of vitiligo involvement.
7. The evaluation of immunological, biochemical, blood and hormone laboratory tests to exclude other autoimmune diseases and to determine the phase and course of the disease.
8. The evaluation by a vitiligo expert and the choice of treatment (requires at least 40-50 minutes worldwide).
9. The psychological approach to the patient and the detection of the stressful phenomenon that may have triggered vitiligo, as well as the assessment of the current psychological state of the patient through special tests (requires at least 15-20 minutes worldwide).
It would therefore be wise for patients to be careful because the time dedicated during the first examination is not usually sufficient in order to receive accurate information and correct treatment options (standard examination time in other centers is 10-15 minutes!).
