Since the introduction of Vitiligo International Conferences: IPCC, Vitiligo International Symposium, Global Vitiligo Foundation, , I have been the only Greek with a regular attendance, gaining a lot from the publications and the collaboration with internationally respected vitiligo experts like John Harris, Mauro Picardo, Alain Taieb and others.
BECAUSE for 30 years, as we love what we do, we have engaged in university research regarding our personalized galenic formulations, evaluating permeability, effectiveness, physicochemical stability, sterility over time, comparing them with the respective commercial formulations , which do not fall behind in terms of the aforementioned tests.
BECAUSE, in the age of artificial intelligence and deep learning systems that mimic the human brain to find the right diagnosis within a short period of time, among thousands of images of a condition, I find that a brief examination of a patient with a skin condition like vitiligo is inappropriate.
BECAUSE, I have adopted a psychological approach toward the patient, trying to identify the stressful factors that have triggered vitiligo and the existence of other problems of a psychological nature that will determine the outcome and course of the condition.

Β) my collaboration, for over 20 years, with the Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Thessaly, on the psychological status of vitiligo patients – with publications in international journals of psychiatry and dermatology

Vitiligo Center was present at the 3rd VIPOC Conference held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Vitiligo Center was the only organization present from Greece, as can be seen from the conclusions of the conference.
Doctor with Experience and Specialized Training in Vitiligo
Experience and expertise are gained by singular and persistent practice for many years, ONLY with one subject, vitiligo, learning alongside good specialist leukologists and with a large clientele exclusively of vitiligo patients.
Those who have many years of experience in cosmetic, aesthetic and classical dermatology and sometimes also see patients with vitiligo, whether they have sufficient experience in the difficult problem of vitiligo is determined by the patient with his judgment.
Expertise, knowledge of the subject and correct approach during physical examination
These are skills that the client is perceptive enough to acknowledge during a 15-minute examination at a conventional clinic, or a thorough 90-minute examination at an organized vitiligo treatment center such as Vitiligo Center.
Our machines whose purchases start from 1996 the first UVA (only this existed then) and the Waldmann UV 100 L cabin which we have been using for 17 years! And it’s clearly not cutting-edge technology. We will receive innovative phototherapy technology soon, on the one hand because since 1996 we have been pioneers in know-how because we love our unique object vitiligo, and on the other hand to be able to be consistent in the study of a new galenic medicine for the treatment of vitiligo commissioned by a foreign pharmaceutical industry. We also use focused phototherapy with Excimer Light.
Finally, we have 200 devices, for home use NBUVB 311nm, of German and Chinese origin, Dermalight and Kernel NBUVB 311nm which have been available for many years at low cost (lamp change and maintenance, technician costs, etc.) throughout the treatment of our customers.
Treatment effectiveness in the first 2-3 months
The effectiveness of the treatment is amazing with our personalized formulations (based on the criteria of the area, time of illness, age, phototype, etc.). The improvement is from 30% to 70% in the first trimester WITHOUT PHOTOTHERAPY.
However, when it is durable and on large or rigid surfaces, then we use it at a low cost (lamp change and maintenance, technician expenses, etc.) throughout the treatment of our clients.
